INVERSE GENERALIZED GOMPERTZ DISTRIBUTION WITH PROPERTIES AND APPLICATIONS
Abstract
In this work, a novel probability model called inverse generalized Gompertz
distribution by inverting generalized Gompertz distribution is developed. Some
relevant characteristics of novel proposed model are mathematically and statistically
derived and analysed. The unknown parameters of novel probabilty
model are estimated using least square estimation(LSE), Cramer von-Mises estimation(
CVME) and maximum likelihood estimation(MLE) methods. In this
work, by comparing it with some well-known existing distributions using a real
set of data, evaluation of of the goodness of fit and versatility of the novel model
has been done
