Exponential Chen Distribution with Applications
Abstract
We have proposed a new probability distribution named Exponential Chen
distribution. Some properties of new model are illustrated like the survival func-
tion, hazard rate function (HRF), cumulative hazard function, quantile function,
the skewness, and kurtosis. The parameters of the exponential Chen distribution
are estimated by using the maximum likelihood estimation (MLE), Cramer-Von-
Mises (CVM) and least-square estimation (LSE) methods. Also we have devel-
oped asymptotic condence interval based on maximum likelihood. A real data
set is used to illustrate the applicability of the proposed model.
